Well thats right things are sort of right with the world again. Garett did end up getting his job back the middle of June. He was excited. The whole depression was easily over come once he felt like he was worth something again. He is still racing and having a blast doing it. He recently lost a good friend who was racing. The anguish and hell that we went through for a week does not even compare to what Casey's family was living. We know that Casey is in a better place and that things happen for a reason we just are not sure what the reason is. Garett did go to Washington and race this weekend and for the memorial of Casey.
I am no longer working for the storage units. I am a on call custodian for the school district. This is a blessing that I know I needed. I can pick and choose the jobs that I take and it does not interfer too much with the kids. Garett's younger sister Kristen has been a life saver. She has been coming early in the morning to watch the kids for me. I have really kept busy I have only had 2 weeks of the summer off. I am loving it I have worked with an awesome crew.
Hunter is getting so big he tells me he needs deodorant. The kid is only starting the 2nd grade. He is still struggling with the reading but we are working hard. He is going to start soccer in the fall. He turns 8 in October and can't wait to start scouts. I can't believe how old my baby is getting.
Tayton starts preschool again. He is getting big and in more trouble than I can handle. Hunter thinks it up and Taters tries it. He is going to start soccer this fall. Hopefull it will be better than last year.
Gracee is going to be 3 in less than a month. She is also starting preschool. She tells everyone her name is princess. Its too funny. She is growing like a weed and I love seeing it happen. I do hate the attitude that comes with her getting older.

Just another day
So the holidays have come and gone. It was kind of a stressful time. We were not sure if Garett was going to be laid off or not. We made it through Christmas and then monday came and yep sure enough Garett was laid off. I have had to try and find work but am having a hard time. I did get a job last week at Washington Dam storage. Its only 2 days a week. Garett is still unemployed and we have not received any unemployment checks. So basically we are scraping the bottom of the barrel. The kids are doing GREAT! Tayton broke his wrist right before thanksgiving and got the cast off 2 days before Christmas. Hunter loved having the long awaited Christmas vacation from school. The kids have done nothing but play the Wii. Gracee finally decided she wanted to be potty trained and has done AWESOME! I am loving the fact that I do not have to buy diapers anymore. Well that pretty much all there is going on right now. I hope to pick up more work and hope that Garett's boss decides he needs to hire him back.
